Northeast US office of Energy from Waste Operations Organization

Seeking Senior Project Director with Preconstruction, Project Execution and
Commissioning skills to:

  • Lead the development of overall project execution strategies, schedules
          and estimates, including establishing accountability with Project teams.  
  • Create and oversee coordination of functional strategies and specific
    objectives for the Project Planning group, including development of
    budgets/policies/ procedures Develop and direct the strategic planning of
    multiple ongoing and future projects.
Planning is for multiple ongoing and potential, recurring and unique, mainly small to medium size, mostly domestic construction
projects at power production facilities; travel to monitor projects, communication with Business Development, Construction and
Corporation teams makes this a 50% travel position.

A successful record of Construction Project Planning at an executive level, including Construction Management in the Energy
from Waste industry, demonstrable leadership and the ability to produce excellent strategy regarding potential and ongoing
projects from design and financial documents and site visits, is required. An Engineering degree, Business Degree, PE or
PMP is not required that level of knowledge is part of this job.

Sr Director sought to lead Project Management/Construction Management
Professionals within department to develop overall project execution strategies,
schedules, and estimates and establish accountability with the Project teams to
ensure successful projects.

Specifically, the Director
•        Develops/directs strategic planning of multiple projects,
•        Creates and oversees coordination of functional strategies and specific
    
     objectives for the PM/CM group
•        Develops budgets/policies/procedures.
•        Ensures projects are aligned with Operations/ Maintenance and adequate
    
     reporting information,
•        Manages project scope, budget, and schedule to ensure the project meets

Qualifications include:
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
•        Minimum of five years of experience in the utility industry - prefer more senior experience
•        Ability to foster a sense of team spirit within different departments
•        Communicates well and relays information in a timely manner
•        Has good budgeting skills, recognizes opportunities to reduce costs without reducing quality
•        Can develop clear vision for project schedules and completion

on Maintenance and, Performance Improvement of Solid Fuel Combustion
Power equipment – Boilers and Turbines.

Senior Power Plant Senior Process Engineer sought by well-reviewed US-
based Energy from Waste plant operations employer to be based at their greater
Philadelphia operations location. Corporate position, reporting to Manager of
Process Engineering, with local and regional responsibilities, identifying
engineered solutions to operational issues at municipal landfill power plants.

Seeking degreed Engineer with minimum 5 years’ related experience
to improve combustion controls, contributing to boiler stability, plant production

and environmental performance as part of the Process Team, advancing the
overall combustion control philosophy, evaluating controls and hydraulic system
upgrades, SNCR systems, combustion air systems, modernization of stokers,
grates and boilers.


Requires
:

  • Developed Mechanical Equipment background
  • Process knowledge of equipment functions
  • Instrumentation/Controls background with controller tuning skills
