Duties include developing estimates and proposals working
with senior and project management, helping to identify
operational solutions and additional beneficial work for clients
Qualifications sought: Min of 5 years’ related estimating
excellent communication skills.  Preferred:  BS in Mechanical
Engineering/equivalent experience, developed presentation
skills, history of developing strong client relationships.

Duties include:
Quantity/Cost Take-Offs on new projects
Leading conceptual and detailed estimating on large, aviation
construction projects
Verification of shop drawing accuracy
Distribution of shop drawings
Setting up computer models for compiling cost data received
for subcontractors and estimating staff
Drafting of field sketches and other related functions
Working with architects and owners in value engineering when
preliminary estimates exceed the owner’s budget. Finds
architectural alternatives and prices them out for cost savings.
Maintaining and updating the master bid list.

Qualifications:

10+ years’ in aviation construction
High level conceptual estimating ability
Expertise with estimating database software’s such as MC2,
Timberline, etc.
Experience in working in different geographical markets
around the country
Must be able to travel weekly if necessary
Experience with large, commercial construction projects of at
least $250M
the country
Change order estimating expertise
Ability to manage a design to a budget
identification of additional work beneficial to the client, making
clear presentations and delivering accurate cost estimates and
Qualifications:
•        Basic knowledge of the mechanical construction
business, including estimating, scheduling and cost control;
•        General knowledge of code requirements, ability to read
all aspects of blue-prints, legal documents, budget prep, risk
analysis, team building, negotiation skills, time management;
•        Preferred: Related 4 yr degree, min 1 years related
experience; will consider more senior candidates
